Welcome to My Intolerance-Friendly Kitchen

Cooking for a child with food intolerances can be a challenge—but also a chance to discover new, nourishing ways to eat. My son has an intolerance to gluten, eggs, and cow’s milk (which trigger his eczema) have guided me toward creating wholesome recipes that work for his needs. I’ve found that goat’s and sheep’s cheese are gentle alternatives that don’t cause flare-ups, and they’ve become staples in my kitchen.

I’m not cooking just for him, either—my mum shares many of the same intolerances and also finds that acidic foods can make her rosacea worse. So these recipes are carefully chosen to be gentle, comforting, and full of flavor, without the common triggers.

Whether you’re managing similar food intolerances or just exploring more mindful ways of eating, I hope you find inspiration, ease, and delicious options here.

Hello and Welcome,

I’m a wife, mum of two, and kidney transplant recipient. After being unexpectedly diagnosed with kidney failure, I went through dialysis and received a life-saving transplant. This blog is where I share my journey, hoping to raise awareness and connect with others who may be going through a similar experience.
